About

bloggeraboutme

Hello there! My name is Diana and I’m crazy about classic movies.

Because most days are spent daydreaming about running on top of Mount Rushmore with Cary Grant, dancing in the rain with Gene Kelly and wearing Givenchy walking around Paris like Audrey Hepburn, I decided to create Flickin’ Out. Here I want to connect with other classic film fans to not only share our love for these films but speak critically about what makes them so legendary.

My love for classic movies goes back to a very young age. The first film I remember having a profound impact on me is The Wizard of Oz. I wanted to be Judy Garland and watched the film so much that I destroyed the VHS tape. While most kids my age growing up in the 90’s were watching shows like Clarissa Explains it All and wanting a BFF like Sam to come through their window, I wanted American Movie Classics host Nick Clooney to come into my room and watch classic movies.

If you’d like to get in touch with me or submit an idea, email me at flickinout@gmail.com

I’m also on Twitter at @thedameupstairs where I frequently make cameos during #TCMParty. You can also follow me on Instagram at flickin_out.
