Update:
Welcome to May the 4th be with Audrey Hepburn! The blog posts from the world wide web are pouring in this morning. Here are the ones that have been submitted so far looking at the films of Ms. Hepburn’s career:
The Mayerling by Define Dancing
Charade by Coffee, Classics, & Craziness
Two for the Road by Cinema Cities
How to Steal a Million by Three Enchanting Ladies
The Nun’s Story by Defiant Success
Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Little Bits of Classics
We love Audrey Hepburn for her kindness, sophistication, and style but she was so much more. I keep seeing outlets post about her being perfect but not many discuss her feminism and strength. I spoke with bloggers Simoa of Define Dancing, Kristen Lopez of Journeys into Classic Film, and Maureen Lee Lenker to look at why Audrey Hepburn needs to be given credit as a feminist figure. Take a listen to part 1 of a special podcast, Why Audrey Hepburn should be remembered as the badass she was.
Enjoy today friends and when someone says May the 4th Be With You and wants to talk Star Wars, school them on the awesomeness that is Audrey Hepburn. 🙂

Below is the original post announcing the blogathon.
For the past few years, May 4th has turned into ‘Star Wars Day,’ thanks to the internet. Fans have altered the date using the franchise’s iconic line, ‘may the force be with you’ and changing it to ‘May the Forth.’ Now on that day we’re bombarded with Star Wars puns from both our friends and our favorite brands. But some have failed to realize that May 4th was already a holiday. It’s the day Audrey Hepburn was born back in 1929. As much as I love Star Wars, Audrey came first! 🙂 So on this May 4th, let’s celebrate all things Audrey Hepburn. Join me on May 3rd & 4th for the ‘May the 4th be with Audrey Hepburn’ blogathon! In addition to this, I’m working with several bloggers and fellow Hepburn disciples on a four part podcast that will examine her life and career. I look forward to sharing this special project with you all on this Audrey Hepburn holiday.

I’m not sure if my last comment went through or not… I just wanted to say that, even though ‘Charade’ has already been taken, I was wondering if you’d allow me to write a review of it as well. It’s one of my top fifteen favorite movies and Audrey is my favorite actress. 🙂
